Fr Mission Superior Speaks…
My Dear Jesuit Friends,
My sincere thanks to each one of you, dear Friends, for being present and participating in the 3rd Chennai Mission Assembly on 12-13 Jan, at Chennai. Your presence, spiritual support and contribution make me happy and strengthen me to do the Mission work still better.
There were altogether 261 participants including 15 lay collaborators in the Assembly. The members in the Mission area took active part in the preparation of the Assembly by way of contributing their views, reflections and action plans in responding to the questions sent by me which were taken up for deliberations in the Assembly.
The contribution of the collaborators from our Institutions is also much appreciated. I would like to express my sincere thanks to all of them for their forthright sharing in the Assembly. On behalf of all of you, I would like to express my wholehearted thanks to the organising committee headed by Fr. Henry Jerome, all the members of the other sub-committees and the members of the Loyola Community, for their tireless hard work to excellently accomplish the Mission Assembly. A special thanks to the Scholastics of Berchmans Illam as well.
All of you made the Assembly meaningful by joining hands in the process of building up the Mission and collectively moving forward. “Belonging and Building” should lead us to COLLECTIVE MAGIS. Let us take this collective Magis as the fruit of the Assembly and march forward with our option people. The Mission team is happy to present to you the Report of the 3rd Chennai Mission Assembly for your perusal and further actions.
