Vocational Skill Training

JCM- Ahal - Vocational Training

This factory was born from the plan of shoe making company. It was originally started to have shoe making. Since it was successful I t was changed into stitching rexine bags.

It is now in full swing to teach how to stitch school bags and other ordered bags. It was started functioning in Sep, 2005. At present there are 10 girls and a teacher busy in tailoring bags. Still now, more than 1000 bags have been sold to the several places tailored by our own leather factory students.

This particular factory is open to all groups of Dalits. Non Dalits are discouraged to join this factory. It is a residential school. Since it is a residential school they are being taught not only how to stitch rexine bags but also personality development, moral values and various social awareness themes.
